I took a quick business trip to Taos, New Mexico in July, 2019 and found some very tame Canyon Towhee’s at my cabin. It was a fun, quick trip that I’m sure to repeat soon.

Joey and I decided to head to the local refuge, it was a quick trip as it a newly designated fee area, but to pay the fee you had to get on the internet. Being out in the wilderness, there isn’t any cell service. Silly people. I will try again on a different day.

The first lifer of the year. A Black-crested Titmouse at Eagle Mountain Park, Texas. Very difficult bird to catch with the camera, but happy with what I did get.
